Panevėžio miesto dailės galerija

The Panevėžys Civic Art Gallery was founded in 1990. The Gallery has 3 departments: Art Gallery, Ceramic Art Pavilion and Photography Gallery. The main directions of activities are exhibitions, enlargement of its art collection, education, and art publications.

The Gallery houses contemporary ceramics collection, which contains more than 650 works and compositions. Those chamotte ceramic works were created by 170 artists from 37 countries. The collection of this kind is the biggest one in the Eastern Europe region. The Gallery is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) since 2017.
